With the aid of their handlers watch the dogs move several sheep through a set course of gates and pens. Each dog receives a score based on their performance and the dog with the highest score wins the competition. For spectators it is a chance to see sheepdogs show off their herding talents and demonstrate their natural skills as working dogs. Visitors are welcome at any time during the trial.
